Absolutely incredibly stupid. I cannot believe that our elected representatives can be so idiotic as to think that their objection to being audited by the Auditor General of Canada would be OK with Canadian voters. Note to MP readers: the title is not the Auditor General of almost all of Canada, or the Auditor specific of Canada).
It is interesting that all the major parties except for the Block Quebecois are uniform in their belief that they are above the kind of scrutiny that Sheila Fraser can bring to bear on them. It has to make the average Canadian taxpayer very suspicious.
Unfortunately their uniformity leaves voters no way to exhibit their displeasure with the stand they have taken since we cannot vote for a party that has the common sense to be in favour of the audit proposed.
Dare I say Stephen Harper that this is a coalition of the corrupt?
